Novmber 2021 Vedic Monthly Forecast

Planets transit in the Month of November

Last week of October the planet of aggression, force and conflict Mars leaves Virgo and enters Libra on 21st October. Mars entering Libra is not a good sign of harmony, compromise and agreement. On the positive side the Mars energy to some degree gets dull. At the beginning of its transit Mars isn't interacting with other planets.  On November 2nd Mercury enters Libra and will join Mars. These two planets are considered enemies in Vedic astrology.  Mercury's rational, reasonable approach to dealing with things gets distorted by Mars forcefulness, haste and impulsiveness.  Mercury is the planet of communication and when joined with Mars the planet of aggression leads to aggressive communication.

On November 10th Mercury and Mars both planets are exactly conjunct at 13 degrees Libra.  Simultaneously the two planets are in an aspect pattern with Saturn.  Since Saturn is in its own sign Capricorn is strong. Mars and Saturn have inimical qualities and the aspect is conflicting and leads to challenging situations. Saturn is the planet of stability, security, established order and tries to stop the actions of Mars. Mars tries to push Saturn into action. Saturn tries to control the aggression of Mars. This pattern produces a lot of tension and stress and could even lead to a crisis.

On November 4th the New Moon, the beginning of a Lunar month, gives us some clues about what will happen during that month. On this day there is a Indian festival Diwali. Diwali is the festival of lights. This festival of India shows victory over your five sense which leads to righteous actions.

Venus changed signs at the end of October leaving Scorpio and entering Sagittarius. This is not such a good combination for some of Venus's significations. Sagittarius is a fire sign and therefore egoistic, self-centered, independent and willful. Sagittarius is attached to its own truth and  self-righteousness. So the planet of harmony, balance, compromise and agreement is not able to function smoothly.

Jupiter changing signs on November 20th. Jupiter leaves Capricorn and enters Aquarius where it will remain for five months until 13 April 2022. This time the transit of Jupiter is for a short duration due to its fast speed and will enter the Pisces sign on April 13, 2022.  Aquarius is a sign of  progression of humanity and society.  Aquarius wants to bring people together to enact social change. Jupiter is the planet of beliefs, truth, laws and justice. So this is a good transit for the people who want to make the world better for everyone. Jupiter's aspect gives encouragement to whatever sign it aspect. Jupiter will send a direct aspect to Leos as well as 9th aspects to Libra and 5th aspect to Gemini and Jupiter benefits any planets residing in these signs.

There will be a Lunar eclipse on November 19th at 3 degrees in Taurus sign. Moon is exalted in the sign of Taurus but because it eclipse it will not function properly. The Lunar eclipse which creates confusion or lack of a clear vision to go forward. Therefore makes the month a bit weaker for getting things done. There will still be a tiny portion of the Moon remaining uncovered and it looks silver. Therefore the Moon doesn't go totally dark during a lunar eclipse, but rather takes on this dark red hue hence it's called a Blood Moon.

This eclipse will be visible over North America and the pacific ocean. This eclipse is not directly interacting with any planets but since a lunar eclipse is a darkening of the full moon it does cause some weakness to the energy of the month.

Venus Retrograde 2017 for Each Ascendant

Venus will enter in Pisces sign on 27th January 2017 and will stay till may 30th 2017. Venus normally goes through a sign in approximately 25 to 27 days. But due to its retrograde cycle it can stay in one sign for about four months. This year 2017 Venus is going to  retrograde in Pisces sign from March 04 2017 and will direct on April 15 2017 and stay there till may 30th 2017. Venus will stay in Pisces sign almost for 4 months because of its retrograde motion.

Venus is the planet of love, money, what we value, respect and when it's Retrograde, it is a catalyst for internal focus for all these things. Venus represents a sense of personal worth and value, the quest for pleasure as well as the urge to beautify both inner and outer spheres of the self. Psychologically Venus also symbolizes self-esteem. When Venus turns inward it focuses on its sense of self worth, needing reflections of what it values in environment and in relationships. So when Venus retrograde in Pisces, people will make connections at this time on a more subconscious level and the results of that connection may not be immediately apparent to them. Retrograde planets being the "observer of life”. They will not express whatever is going on within but will also be sort of floating above and self watching and taking in all the lessons, making clarity as much as possible and you will see, know, understand and connect with in yourself. During retrograde periods the planetary energy is apt to be more reflective, focused and internalized in order to integrate what has previously occurred in its cycle.

Venus exalted in last degree of Pisces and Venus in Pisces is “Happy for all or Happy for no reason”. Exalted retrograde planets are tricky. It's said in Vedic astrology that any exalted planet retrograde considered as debilitated. So during Venus retrograde in Pisces transit wise or in your birth chart, a deeper relationship issues surfacing. it is a time to contemplate what one's deepest, most personal needs are and from what those needs originate. It is a time to explore one's own needs for love and nourishment and to examine one's capacity to receive both of these life necessity. The Retrograde Venus in Pisces it's a time of reorientation and a sense of renewal in relating to the world as a loving and spirited individual. Venus retrograde implies the time in the cycle when we withdraw from relationships to reflect upon them. The period is a time to be secluded, reflective and Meditative. Love and suffering are fused during this Venus retrograde. On the collective level deceptions (especially self-delusions) with people may be revealed, where you can examine the past in your lives as it reaches into the present to see where your hearts went wrong. Then, as you come to awareness, what you can let go of that past, heal the wounds by forgiving ourselves and others, and move on. (Pisces sign quality). In your intimate life, you are now going through unexpected thunderstorm, and be ready to move to higher level of consciousness.

Exalted Planets in Astrology

In astrology to judge the horoscope it is very necessary to check the condition of the planet and how they will affect our life. There is a specific degree in the zodiac in which planets are in their highest quality or considered exalted point or fully awake (jagrat state). The exalted planets show the full strength. The planet must be in the early or later degree of the certain zodiac sign to be exalted and the more closer the degree the more effect will be felt.

Planets exalted point and their effect

Exalted Sun: Sun exalted at 10 deg. in Aries. When the Sun exalts, the person is inspired, able to sacrifice, humble, honorable, and have strong will power. Sun in Aries shows the necessity to act upon the highest soul’s purpose with courage. This type of action transforms the inner Sun from one of self-interest to do good for others.

Exalted Moon: Moon exalted at 3 deg. In Taurus. When the Moon exalts, the person is like to happy, sensuous, connected to own needs, and stable emotionally. Moon wants to stay happy all the time.  Moon gets every worldly thing in Taurus sign whatever it wants. This is the most enjoyable sign for the Moon but not necessarily peaceful.

Exalted Mars: Mars exalted at 28 deg. in Capricorn. When Mars exalts, the person is full of patience, focused, strong will, and discipline. Mars in Capricorn is focused on destroying problems, rather than damaging things, situations or people that make us happy. Exalted Mars is good for pursuing goals of this material world.

Exalted Mercury: Mercury exalted at 15 deg. in Virgo. When the Mercury exalts, the person is jolly nature, skillful, detail oriented, discriminative mind set, and sensible. This is known as Bhadra Yoga in Vedic astrology if mercury falls in 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th house. This yoga gives good capacity for neutrality for people and the situations. The person is good at understanding and detachment.

Exalted Jupiter: Jupiter exalted at 5 deg. in Cancer. When Jupiter exalts, the person is full of wisdom, loving, expansive, wise, gracious, and generous. The person grows and improves oneself through emotions. Opportunities come through one's expression of protective empathy and instinctive nurturing.

Exalted Venus: Venus exalted at 27 deg. in Pisces. When Venus exalts, the person is happy for no reason or happy in everything. The person is spiritual, devoted, and respectful in nature. Venus is the planet of desires and exalted in the mystical sign of Pisces. Pisces is a sign of flexibility. Pisces is the least worldly sign. Therefore Venus in Pisces understands universal love and has the capacity to give love.

Exalted Saturn: Saturn exalted at 20 deg in Libra. When Saturn exalts the person is balanced, has good judgmental power, practical, humble, and thriving in solitude. The person has an excellent sense of justice and a need to learn about the true nature of cooperation and mutual support. This nature provides service and practical sensitivity for all rather than fall into a fear, self-doubt, and sorrow.

Exalted Rahu: Considered exalted in Taurus. Highly ambitious and practical.

Exalted Ketu: Considered exalted in Scorpio. Good in taking risks and going deep into psychic transformative and fearless.

Exalted planets means the person's mind is fully aware of the situation or surrounding. There is a misconception about exalted planets that they always give good results. Result of the planets depends on which house planets rules and in where planets are placed in the chart. There are some difficulties felt by the people who have exalted planets when they rule dusthana houses (6th, 8th, and 12th house). Therefore every planet acts differently for each ascendant because they rule different houses. The planets are the force of nature that allow our higher consciousness to unfold through whatever they rule in the chart. The house of exaltation and debilitation shows, areas of life will allow the highest quality of the planet to unfold and through that area of life transformation will occur in life.

Let’s say a person is an Aries ascendant and Jupiter is exalted in the 4th house, and it rules 9th and 12th house. The 9th house is the lucky house and the 12th house is of loss. Jupiter is exalted for 9th house and 12th house. Jupiter exaltation means they are capable in finding their inner peace and spiritual wisdom. They are generous and helping in nature. So what result can be expected in Jupiter mahadasha because it rules malefic 12th house. These people have difficulties in their life related to the 12th house but because Jupiter is exalted they manage it. Those losses force them to look into their hearts for higher spiritual wisdom in order to surrender.

Another example if Scorpio ascendant have exalted Sun, which exalted in 6th house and rule 10th house. 6th house is dusthana house in astrology. Exaltation of the Sun in 6th house means the person faces problems in the career area. It brings enemies, competition and arguments which will teach the person humility and limited use of power. The exalted Sun for Scorpions will  make them mature. When a positive lord exalted in dusthana house, it shows the problem to the person in order to understand that area of life.

Those people have exalted planets in their horoscope; it doesn't mean they escape unpleasant parts of life. Everyone has to face unpleasantness of life but it matters how you face it. Exalted planets simply mean the person is mature and able to manage life in a worse situation with dignity.
