Getting Answers for A Curious Mind

Human mind is curious and it has questions about any and everything.  You probably have a tone of it as well.

  • How can I be happy?

  • Why did it happen?

  • How is this possible?

  • Why do people think like that?

  • Why can't people understand me?

  • Why was I born?

  • What is the purpose of my life?

  • What is my duty?

Till we have questions our mind stays curious, wonders and tries to find answers. How do we settle this curiosity? We need to be open and accept reality and find answers by learning and educating ourselves.  Some people may help you in getting your answers , for some the questions you have may not even be a question so obviously they cannot understand and help. Since it is your curiosity it becomes your quest to find answers. Spiritualism deals with a lot of these questions as spiritualism is a way of life and yogis and our elders have given us a framework. In fact now we have an issue with the interpretations of it as these are very old guidelines and the world has changed. The curious mind can  be calmed by..

  1. Accept it as it is and don't question. (What is the cost of not knowing?)

  2. Try to be a learner and find answer

We need to be a good listener and open to different perspectives, Not react but respond with our actions. Responding engages us in life, helps in self analysis and finds what didn't work the way we expected. It becomes a feedback loop to learn more about the changes in the society and align ourselves.  What was considered a norm 10 years ago is forgotten today and we have new norms. We have to be conscious and aware which keeps us informed and makes us aware.

from my personal experience.. I was trying to learn statistics by trying to relate to what I knew.. It was very hard. Then I accepted it as a new subject with an open mind and was able to learn it a lot faster than I could have thought. So sometimes the experience helps us in learning and sometimes they slow us down. As humans we should be able to make a call about what to take up with an open mind.

If we are stuck in one place, we will keep on seeing the same problems and issues again and again.

I just did math. By looking at it, we have only around 7 hours (2659 hours in a year) on an average per day to learn and be better. Rest of the time is used for sustaining our existence (8 hours for sleeping, 8 hours for work, 3 hours of routine work). How many hours do we spend on a regular basis on self improvement and learning?

When we are a constant learner it becomes natural to us and it is not even an effort, but most of us get into I know more and stop being open and curious, the moment we do that we go stale and uncomfortable and start losing touch with the people around us .. which makes us question, curious and at some point in time uncomfortable to as to we don't fit any more.

Astrology can be a good start for a curious mind as it relates to almost every aspect of  life and how we perceive and interact with it. To be at peace we need to get the answers and simplify our life.

Effect of Transit of Ketu (South Node) on Planets Astrology

In Astrology Transits is the movement of the planet in the sky in the present time. This is the method of prediction of the present events in life. This is most often used for the birth Chart of a particular individual. Astrological transits involve a method of interpreting the ongoing movement of the planets as they transit over the planets in the birth chart. The transit of the planet falls differently for everyone according to individual horoscopes. Depending on which sign, house, aspect and angle transit of the planet on the birth chart planets give results.

Ketu Transiting Planets

Ketu is an inner parent who wants everything in perfection. During Ketu transit over planets Ketu always asks you to give up, reject, and renounce something. As Ketu looks at things more critically, its transits can give unrealistic expectations of what you want from life. Ketu shows vulnerability and weakness, the very area the soul needs to evolve.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Sun

Ketu transiting over the Sun shows problems with father, authority figures and government. During Ketu transit over the Sun the native faces deep rooted issues with father. No matter how much effort you make to make your father happy but he will never appreciate your work. It is good to talk at this time because you may not be aware of his actions.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Moon

Ketu transiting over the Moon shows problems with mother.  The mind can become agitated and restless. It is very problematic but after transit, it clear your many misunderstandings with your mother. Or you simply give up to resolve your issues with your mother because she is never going to understand you. It is a good time for meditation, searching for your spiritual roots and understanding  your emotions.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Mars

Ketu transiting over Mars shows problems with brother or brother like figures. Ketu acts like Mars and its transit over Mars doubles the effect. During this time the person should avoid arguments and fighting with people. The person needs to think before taking any physical action and also careful during driving because in this period they may have injuries or accidents.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Mercury

Ketu is a perfectionist and criticizes the inner parent, and Mercury presents an analytical mind.. Both Ketu and Mercury use their logic and analytical mind to be experts in communication and develop skills related with the sign and house. It can be confusing and the person may make the wrong decision. It also creates difficulty in relations with siblings.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Jupiter

Jupiter is belief, higher learning, philosophy, and guidance for everyone. Ketu’s transit over Jupiter can make the person reject many beliefs, philosophy, ideas about life that were defined by others in childhood or past lives. Now during this time they explore different or new ideas, philosophy and teachings. This could be a difficult time with teachers and Gurus.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Venus

Venus is luxury, comfort, beauty, and a relationship factor in everyone's life. Ketu’s transit over Venus is a difficult time for all Venus stuff. Ketu wants a simpler life in this time period so that you can understand life beyond comfort and beauty. In this time the native gave up luxuries and comforts. Ketu wants to experience love beyond physical pleasure so relationships may break  in their time period.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Saturn

Saturn is the planet of responsibility and duty.  Ketu transiting over Saturn is heavy in relation to work and duty. It creates sudden responsibility and workload in career. During this time the native needs to take precaution, because it makes the person leave the responsibility and work. Which may create problems in the career area. Ketu leads to complete reassessment of goal, and responsibilities in life during this transit.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Rahu

When Ketu transits over Rahu it creates confusion. Suddenly You feel you need to give up desires and ambitions and take the path of spirituality. Ketu sucks confusion, it's just difficult for a person to resolve the issues. As this represents the halfway stage of a karmic struggle, relating to the outer life. So it’s difficult and you are still engaged in understanding your inner voice.

Ketu (South Node) transit over Ketu

Ketu return (Ketu transiting Ketu) signifies the end of one cycle of soul growth. This is a good time to meditate over the lessons learnt during the past 18 years. It is a time for closure, for paying your karmic debts and letting go of your emotional baggage. If you still continue the old conditioning of your mind, then you are not helping your soul to mature and grow.
