12th House Synastry

Some people have planets in the 12th house. Generally these people are very secretive by nature. Which makes them prefer to keep their issues to themselves and refusing and denying things to others that some issues exist in their life. Occasionally, secretiveness refers to people who are likely to engage in activities behind their partner's back. This kind of secretiveness can be damaging to a relationship. The twelfth is house related to secretiveness. Planets in the twelfth are important signification of secrets in life.

The 12th house is the house of illusion, secrets, deception by others, self-deception, dreams, drugs, chronic illness, institutions ( hospital, jail ) and intuition. The 12th house is the house of shadow, loss, sorrow, escapism, bed pleasure and isolation. Planets in the 12th house and rulers of the 12th house show areas of life that are likely to lead to loss. The 12th house is  considered a malefic house and this house produces problems in our lives and any secrets in a relationship can lead to big problems. Of course, loss also can lead to great spiritual growth, so this house should be seen as a bigger picture of life.

Planets in the 12th house of any one of the partners is an important clue about personality. The 12th house is near to the first house especially if the planet is more than 20 degrees.

When the partner's planets are in the individual's twelfth house, and especially when they make conjunctions with natal planets already there, then existing twelfth-house planets and the house as a whole are "woken up." The partner causes the individual to have to look at his or her hidden twelfth-house issues without any specific triggers. The individual may experience the relationship as intense and challenging.  In the context of a relationship, the main planets to look for are the planets Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, and the rulers of the seventh and the fifth house.

When one of the partners has the Sun in the twelfth house, (sun is the individual power)  and it is likely that other people don't really see this person's individuality, or the individual's deliberate try to hide this and the other partner isn't able to understand very well.

When one of the partners has the Moon in the twelfth house, it usually shows a problem in expressing feelings. This might be because of the fear of loss or sorrow, probably because it has been experienced before. It is not an uncommon problem for some people to avoid becoming deeply involved in a relationship because of the fear of loss. Moon can be a great help for the partners to understand the problem and find safe, conscious ways to deal with emotional problems.

When one of the partners has Mars in the twelfth house, Mars is the sensual drive it shows the partner might have a secret sensual relationship.

When one of the partners has Venus in the twelfth house. Venus is the natural signification for relationships, but it does not make it is a good place to have. There can be too much secretiveness. It is not unusual for people who have extramarital affairs to have Venus in this position, and automatically make someone unfaithful. This also may be the case for a partner who has the ruler of the fifth in the twelfth. The ruler of the seventh in this house also makes for secretiveness about the partner, about relationships, and even toward the partner. But not everyone with a twelfth-house Venus or fifth lord is likely to have an affair or be secretive.

Transits of planets in the 12th house are likely to trigger issues related to this secretiveness. Hidden issues rise to the surface, sometimes many issues are in fact hidden from the twelfth-house person. They might not be able to recognize that these are his or her own issues that have come to the surface, and hold the partner responsible for the sudden appearance of these problems. This house of self-undoing, though, it is difficult to get a clear picture of what is going on in this house. So the energies of any planets of partners that fall into your twelfth house  are likely to be harder to understand than those falling in other houses in the birth chart..

Pluto in Synastry

Synastry is an astrological technique of determining compatibility between two people. It compares one person’s chart top on the other person’s chart. In this technique, if similar signs fall over each other sign in the birth chart of the two people. e.g. If your Sun in Taurus and your partner’s Moon in Taurus, it means your Sun sign falling on top of its Moon sign. It is very helpful in understanding the relationship between two couples. Synastry shows how the energy flows between two people when they meet with each other.

The outer planets (Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune) have a powerful effect in our personal lives, and the synastry between one person's outer planets and another's personal ones will create changes that affect the relationships. The synastry of Pluto with other planets can create powerful, magnetic forces of attraction between people depending on which planet is falling on each other. The Pluto partner seems charismatic, powerful, transformation, intense, deep, manipulative, obsessive and controlling. Often this relationship actually holds some kind of power and has the capacity to cause change.

Pluto brings change through the principle of letting go and jumping into the unknown. Most lessons, likely to be learned through the many different challenges in the relationship. The Pluto partner may challenge the other person's darkest shadows and fears. This can generate very powerful karmic lessons about realizing that there are things we cannot change and must accept. We do not have power over all aspects of our lives, at least of other people in our life. This lesson can be expressed by the partner, who may have characteristics that are considered unacceptable, and even dangerous. And they often have specifically those things that we hate most. The partner who is perfect in every way but one, and that fatal flaw is the one most feared and suffered by the other person. On the other hand, when the karma is accepted and the partners are willing to face the Plutonic shadows, these relationships can offer the opportunity for profound spiritual growth and personal change. Because Pluto's lesson of accepting what we cannot change and learning to let go is the most fundamental spiritual lesson to the partner.

Pluto Falls on top of Sun: The Sun represents ego, purpose, and power. This synastry shows a clash of ego and power struggles between couples. The Sun’s person finds Pluto's intensity disturbing. The relationship is personality and identity transforming for the Sun person. The Sun person feels major changes in their identity. However the Sun’s person throws light on Pluto's dark behavior and changes are likely to occur in both couple's in life direction. There is also a possibility of changing in life purpose due to upheaval in a relationship.

Pluto Falls on top Moon: The Moon represents emotions and inner peace. This synastry shows intensity of emotions and causes strong emotional reactions and the Moon partner responds in unexpected ways. These synastries often are felt as threatening or challenging.  The Moon individual can feel vulnerable and wounded emotionally. The Moon person is likely to feel “controlled” or manipulated by the Pluto person. Pluto person tries to manipulate and control over the Moon person’s emotions. The relationship will be responsive to both conscious and unconscious. And there is telepathy and psychic connection between partners.

Pluto Falls on top of Mars: The Mars is aggression, competitiveness, passion, and sexual desire. Pluto in synastry with Mars enhances aggression, passion, competitiveness and intensifies sexuality between couples. The relationship can be explosive, challenging, conflicting and sometimes violent. Pluto is dominating and controlling and Mars is independent and free spirit. Both are not able to tolerate each other and there are power struggles between them. Mars is strength and Pluto is depths. Both couples attracted each other due to these qualities but the relationship is volatile, and couples change dramatically through their interaction with each other.

Pluto Falls on top of Mercury: The Mercury is an idea, thoughts, intelligence, learning, communication, and fun of life. Pluto in synastry with Mercury, intensifies ideas, thoughts, and communication and undergoes some profound changes in understanding and in ways of thinking, and develops a deeper understanding with partners. The Pluto partner helps to open up to new ways of thinking. The partners can feel very close to one another because they share many things with each other. The intensity of learning experiences with a partner will transform mentally. The Pluto person may attempt to control the Mercury’s person's thoughts, and may be overly forceful in imposing his views on the Mercury person. The relationship is transforming mentally.

Pluto Falls on top of Jupiter: Jupiter is hope, inspiration, luck, wealth and divine grace. Pluto in synastry with Jupiter gives depth and intensity, of luck and fortune and together they have an ability to expose truth and enjoy journey wherever they have aspirations together. There may be clashes over differing moral, ethical or philosophical perspectives, and there may entirely change the faith and the life opinion in the relationship. The Pluto partner could make Jupiter person dissatisfied with anything less than what they desire. On a positive side the Jupiter partner gives optimism, hope, and luck and the Pluto person brings depth and intensity, and both the partners can learn and explore the mystery of life together. Pluto will make this tendency of Jupiter even stronger, as Pluto’s natural tendency is to intensify.

Pluto Falls on top Venus: Venus is love, romance, balance, harmony and compromise in relationships if you want to be happy. Pluto synastry with Venus is creating intense, passionate magnetic and strong sexual attraction towards each other. The intensity of love and sex deepens over time rather than lessening. A desire to control, manipulate or sexually dominate a partner arouses in the mind of Pluto’s person. This should be managed so that the relationship doesn't turn into a love hate relationship. Pluto and Venus is about deep transformation in love and sex. A transformation of attitudes about love and relationship will occur due to an intensely passionate physical and spiritual love.

Pluto Falls on top Saturn: Saturn is the primary significator for karma, especially through the principles of limitations and lessons. Saturn is the planet of responsibility, hard work, reality, dedication and time. The Pluto person learns about the limits of power struggles in a relationship. The Pluto person feels a lack of power, wants to destroy whatever is blocking the path. Heavy depression, deep disappointments, and fear of losing control. Transformation in relationships is through limitation, slow and painful. Pluto partners learn lessons from the dark and hidden behavior of their own. Lessons learned through hardship and difficult life tests in relationships. On the other hand, when the karma is accepted and the Pluto partner is willing to face and accept the Saturn lesson. These relationships can offer the opportunity for profound spiritual growth and personal change. Because accepting what we cannot change and learning to let go is the most fundamental spiritual lesson of all.

Being at Peace Inside Astrology

We have to learn ourselves how to be at peace within ourselves.. It is a constant struggle and we need to keep on trying to be at peace within ourselves.

Why being at peace within ourselves is important  and what are the benefits of it?

One of the main thing is to Understand ourselves. Why is this important.. if we understand ourselves we know what we like , what we don't like , where we are comfortable and what makes us feel uncomfortable. When we know this we know how to act and behave in a certain situation. This is certainty very helpful in being at peace with ourselves.

  1. When we are at peace .. We are clear in our mind and we speak thoughtfully as we are not distracted by the surroundings, noisy thoughts , irritation, scared mind to express ourselves
  2. When we are at peace .. We can clearly analyze and see the intent of the other person communicating with us. With a calm mind we are able to spend time while having a conversation so we are able to better communicate and take care of our interest.
  3. When we are at peace.. We understand our desires and how much we want and understand the limits of the desire. it is very important to understand it as without understanding the limits we are chasing a miraz.
  4. When we are at peace.. We are not irritated as we understand what we want and have the patience and understanding of what it takes in terms of time and effort to archive it.
  5. When we are at peace.. We are mindful of others and are good listeners this helps us deal with people better .. being a better listener makes us understand what the other person is saying which is so important to live life.. most of the time we see people dealing with each other without understanding them.. how can we be at peace without understanding others that are around us.
  6.  When we are at peace.. we are healthy because we have a calm mind and are able to deal with situation in less stressful manner which promotes better health.
  7. When we are at peace.. we are helpful as we understand our place in the universe and have a better understanding of society and our duties.

We can do mediation, self analysis to help ourselves to be at peace of mind and lead a healthy and happy life. There are some astrological influences which makes our mind stable and peaceful.. even if we don't have those combinations we need to practice and work on ways to have a peaceful mind, so for some it will be more effort to be at peace of mind. We can use Astrology to understand what energies effect us and figure out a way to deal with it. We are responsible for our peace of mind and happiness.. So we should act on it and deal with it.. We can use escapism to avoid unpleasant situations , but eventually when we have to deal with it .. it causes more grief.. so knowing how to deal with situations bring us peace. Imagine we are avoiding certain situation.. that is uncomfortable.. being uncomfortable doesn't makes us feel at peace.

When we are angry, irritated, distrustful and not peaceful inside the outside world looks like a chaos and not livable, When we are at peace inside we start seeing good things around and it feels like a place we want to be.  The outside world didn't change .. it is just that we are looking at the world when we are at peaceful inside.. HAPPY JOURNEY THROUGH LIFE.

It took me more than a year to analyze and balance myself (for some it could be less time, may be I had to work more on it :-)). I don't think i am perfect.. this is a constant practice we need to do in life as life brings us different challenges every day.
