Mercury influence in Divorce, Marriage, Relationship Astrology

If we have to consciously breath.. i guess we will all have faced a situation when we would have forgotten to breath and would be in trouble :-). Like breathing we do lot of things subconsciously.. in some ways they are the habits that build up with time .. we don't think about it.. but just do it  like wise when we are in marriage we let our guards down and be who we are without any pretension.  For a marriage to work there are couple of following things that are needed .. some are subconscious influences which with habits we try to overcome.

1. Love,Respect, Compromise for each other (Venus)
2. Have no ego in relationship (Sun)
3. Having a feeling of Disconnect (Ketu/South Node)
4. Crazy in love & Relationships (Rahu /North Node)
5. Aggression, argument and fighting  (Mars)
6. Emotions, mind, imagination (Moon)
7. Understanding things correctly (Mercury)
8. Learning, teaching, higher wisdom  (Jupiter)
9. Commitment and Duties (Saturn)

For this conversation we will consider Mercury as a planet in relationship, its influences and how it can get us near a divorce if we don't understand it the subconscious influences and change our habits and approach in relationship. 

Mercury represent self-expression, speech, writing ,communication, understandings, flexibility, adjustment, speaking with clarity, intellectual power, flexibility and rational thinking. 

 
Let's consider one by one how these are important..

Mercury is self-expression, speech, writing  & communication:  What happens when we are not able to express ourselves in speaking, writing and while communicating. This can cause issues and frustration for a person who is not able to express. it is also difficult for the partner to get their head around what is getting communicated which can make marriage life difficult. Communication should be clear and there is should be no misunderstanding. 

Mercury is intellectual power, flexibility, adjustment and rational thinking :  It is very difficult to deal with a person who cannot not be flexible and adjusting. Everyone should be understanding other person's point of views and be flexible and adjusting. If the person is not adjusting and flexible then relationship could be very difficult. If a person cannot think rationally, how can we have a conversation with a person who cannot think rationally and above it is not flexible. This can become a major issue in a relationship. We should be thinking rationally and should be flexible while communicating with partners so that able to manage relationships.

In Vedic Astrology 9th house is the dharma house which is ruled by Jupiter. D-9 harmonic chart which is derived from 9th house is the the chart of marriage. So Marriage s not a physical relation is also spiritual/dharmic path with your spouse. Therefor in Hindu culture wife is called as Dharm patni ( hindi word).  Therefore Jupiter play a very big role in marriage to evolve spiritually for both the partners. However if one partner not understand this part then Jupiter could create problem in marriage. 

Jupiter is  hope,  wisdom, teaching, expansion of thing, belief, knowledge , morality wisdom, compassion, spirituality and connection with the universe.


Let's consider one by one how these are important..

Jupiter can cause us to loose hope : When Jupiter is not is a good dignity we just lack hope.. Hope is a core ingredient of life.. Hope is what makes us look ahead in the day, relationship and life. If we don't have hope .. it is difficult to live with a hopeless person. There are many phases of life where we need to be hopeful and if we are not hopeful then there can be problem in a relationship

Jupiter can cause us to question wisdom & teaching : If one partner is interested in learning in higher wisdom and other is not then this probably the worst thing a person can do is to question everything in relationship. It happens a lot in marriage where one person is into spirituality and all and other is not, and if one partner is giving lecture or teaching unnecessary  then other partner get irritated and this could be problematic in relationship. 

Jupiter can cause us to be un-compassionate: When Jupiter is not in a good dignity then a person can be very materialistic and un-compassionate.. which is not a good thing . When we are living together we should be compassionate with out it , it is hard to carry relationships. Even if we are not compassionate we should try to be compassionate to carry the relationships.

Reason Late Marriage in Astrology

Marriage is the part of life which is necessary for normal life living. But nowadays due to different lifestyles and many reasons like mixing of various cultures, moral values, changes in human outlook and attitudes, marriages also have changed. There are many astrological planetary combinations which show late marriage in someone's life.

In astrology there are mainly two planets which are the significator of marriage. They are Venus and Jupiter. If these two planets are not in good dignity marriage could be delayed. Also other planets also play an important role in marriage.

Role of Venus in marriage: Venus is the planet of love and relationship.  If Venus  conjunct with malefics planets like Saturn, Sun, Ketu or Saturn aspects Venus, then they damage the energy of Venus and could delay marriage. Venus combust, debilitated and retrograde makes people make difficult decisions which causes delay in marriage. The Sun is the enemy of Venus if Venus in the sign of Leo then it can delay in marriage. If Venus hemmed between malefic planets like the Sun and Saturn, then it can delay marriage, because they have malefic influence on Venus.

Role of Jupiter in marriage: Jupiter is the planet of many important things in life. It rules many things in life like marriage, children, luck, wisdom and higher knowledge. If Jupiter is debilitated, retrograde or combust, then there is delay in marriage and creates disharmony in married life. 

Planets in the 7th House: 7th house is the main house for married life. Depending on what planet rules the 7th house and what planets are sitting and aspect 7th house shows the result of married life. 

Role of Saturn in the 7th house: Saturn is the planet of maturity, responsibility, and tough  lessons in life. It teaches lessons where it is sitting and what it rules or aspects in the birth chart.  So one should wait till 1st Saturn returns. After 1st Saturn returns the native gets responsible and mature and ready to make the right decision.  7th house lord sitting with Saturn, Sun and Ketu can delay in marriage. Saturn sitting in or aspect 7th house delay in marriage. Even if Saturn is sitting with Jupiter or Venus. For Cancer and Leo ascendant Saturn rules the 7th house. They should marry late  otherwise they might have separated. 

Role of Sun in marriage: Sun sitting in 7th or aspect 7th house delay in marriage. It can also give ego problems in relationships.

Role of Mars in marriage: Mars is the planet of fighting. If Mars is sitting in 7th house or aspect 7th house, then they should marry late otherwise it creates problems in married life. Mars energy gets matured at age 28. The person should get married after 28.

Role of Rahu in marriage: Rahu is obsessive, compulsive planet. It gives unconventional marriage if it sits in the 7th house. It makes the person attracted intensely and makes the person obsessive and the person may marry early. But Rahu is also an illusion; it also gets native separated after the illusion gets over. People who have Rahu in the 7th house should think thoroughly before getting married. 

Role of Ketu in marriage: Ketu is the planet of detached and disinterested in materialistic world. If Ketu is placed in the 7th house then the person is not interested in marriage unless Jupiter or Venus aspects the Ketu.

7th house lord sitting with Saturn, Sun and Ketu can delay in marriage.

Retrograde, combust and debilitated planets in 7th house could delay the marriage. The 2nd and 4th  house are considered family houses. Any malefic planet like Saturn, Ketu and Moon with Ketu sitting in the 2nd and 4th house could delay marriage.  People think getting married late is not a good thing but actually people should take this in a positive way. Because these planetary energies exist within us and try to teach something which is necessary for married life. If these combinations are in someone’s birth chart the person need to understand these energies, so that they can save their married life.
