Sun Moon and Rising sign Astrology
There are many people who are often confused by the Sun, Moon and Rising (ascendant) signs. They often asked which one is more important. I think every sign is important and these three represent different energies in life. So let's start with the Sun sign because most people recognize themselves with the Sun sign.
So what is the Sun?
Sun is the supreme self which is present in all of us. In Hinduism the Sun is known as Shiva, the unchanged and supreme power. We all can merge in this supreme power through yoga and meditation practice. Depending on the Sun sign and position of the house it defines your self esteem, ego, pride and your vitality.
The sign of the Sun and its placement in the birth chart is very important in looking into health, career and social status. If Sun is in Aries sign its mean Sun is in its exalted sign and the person has the capacity for pursuing his/her career goals, has a healthy ego and has good health in general. And if Sun in his fall signs Libra, then the person is not serious about his/her career goals; they are more interested in relationships and they are people oriented. They also don’t have good vitality and have a hard time keeping their health good. So the Sun sign is very important in looking for these three things in a person's life.
Now what is the Moon?
Moon is the emotions, feelings and is the part of you that reflects the way you feel. The Moon is your comfort or uncomfortable zone depending on the Moon sign and house placement. Moon is a receptive and subconscious mind which acts on past life karma. The Moon sign is important because it signifies your inner emotional wiring and describes the conditions you need in order to feel secure in life. Depending on the Moon sign, you react in a certain way in every aspect of your life, relationships and that will create your inner happiness or unhappiness. The Moon is responsible for your emotions, instincts, memory, and everything else which goes on automatically, without conscious control. All these aspects of the person’s life are shown by the Moon sign. Moon signs are very important for mental health. If the Moon is not in good sign or house it can damage your emotional health.
There is a flow of masculine and feminine energy in everyone. Masculine part is your outer side, the conscious, and active and feminine side is your inner side, the unconscious side, and the passive side. The Sun is associated in astrology with supreme self through which consciousness filtered down, and this is why it is given such importance. The Sun sign therefore describes quite well the conscious side of the person. On the other hand, the Moon is associated in astrology with the subconscious, intuitive side of a person.
What is a Rising Sign?
Rising sign (Ascendant) is the most important sign. It changes every two hours and it sets your life map depending on your past life karma. Rising sign is not only a rising sign but it sets your each and every house in differently than others. What do I mean to say this? Let's say if your Aries are rising then your second is Taurus which is ruled by Venus. And if you are a Taurus rising then your second house is ruled by Gemini which is ruled by Mercury. So depending on the rising sign everyone's life is different from others. This is the most important in all these three signs because it sets your theme of life e.g when you get married or when will get a job etc. Rising sign is actually to fulfill your past life karma and move on towards the next level of life.

Dosha in Ayurveda
Each one of us has a different constitution. The key to Ayurvedic treatment is to know the main imbalances of the doshas and how to treat them. For maintenance of health, every person should understand their constitution. When examining the doshas, it is important to make a distinction between balanced and an imbalanced state.
