Vedic Marriage Relationship Compatibility in Astrology

A relationship compatibility in marriage shows if you have a good flow of compatibility energy between your partner/spouse.  Nowadays relationships are very challenging and it is very tough to get a perfect match. A Vedic Marriage Compatibility reading in astrology is a great help in determining what kind of compatibility you will have with your partner/spouse. Your horoscope with another person's horoscope will reveal the truth about your relationship patterns with them.

Vedic Marriage compatibility analysis is ancient and very accurate. In Vedic astrology there is a kuta system which is based on the Moon entirely. The kuta system is predominantly a measure of the flow of consciousness. This is the vital life force between the two people and how this energy harmonizes in the relationship. If there is a blockage in the energy flow between two people, then they have to face lack of happiness in their relationship consciously or subconsciously.

The kuta point system is a powerful and unique feature of Vedic relationship astrology. It shows the level of your horoscope compatibility.

                                                   The Kuta Point System

Vedic astrology uses a point system that mathematically calculates the personal traits of each person’s birth nakshatra.

1. Vedha Kuta: Obstruction - a terrible blemish – mutually repellent nakshatras. When you have the connection of “obstacles” , then partners will face constant challenges in trying to be together. When “obstacles” aren’t present between partners then they are able to overcome any outside interference and live peacefully. The birth stars of the boy and girl should not be Vedha stars.

Vedha (harmful) Nakshatras towards each other.

Ashwini Vedha (harmful) to Jyeshta

Bharani Vedha (harmful) to Anuradha

Krittika Vedha (harmful) to Vishakha

Rohini Vedha (harmful) to Swati

Mrigashira Vedha (harmful) to Dhanistha

Ardra Vedha (harmful) to Shravana

Punarvasu Vedha (harmful) to Uttara Ashadha

Pushya Vedha (harmful) to Purva Ashadha

Ashlesha Vedha (harmful) to Mula

Magha Vedha (harmful) to Revati

Purva Phalguni Vedha (harmful) to Uttara Bhadrapada

Uttara Phalguni Vedha (harmful) to Purva Bhadrapada

Hasta Vedha (harmful) to Shatabhisha

2. Rajju Kuta: Rope - binds a couple to misfortune based on similar body parts. Rajju should not be the same. If they have the same rajju they may face some problems in life. When you have the connection of “misfortune,” it’s difficult to relax and enjoy each other in a relationship. When you don’t have the connection of misfortune between your stars, you enjoy a far greater chance of being able to have your connection easily unfold and grow.

There are five Rajju:

Pada Rajju: The couple will wander and not be settled in life. The partners could become psychologically ‘unstable’. The person becomes restless and develops a desire to ‘wander’. Consciously or unconsciously the person will create circumstances that keep them away from each other.

Ooro Rajju: This may in due course lead to sexual problems on the physical or psychological level. There may be a feeling of frustration. The subtle or sublime experience of sexual satisfaction will be denied. Gradually the interest will decline.

Kati Rajju: On the mental level it may lead to states of anxiety, tension, feelings of insecurity, unreasonable fear and similar complexes. Loss of courage and confidence will lead to lack of initiative and hesitation in taking up responsibilities. Each one of the partners may develop some of these problems, not necessarily the same or all of them.

Greeva Rajju: One of the partners may find the conversation of the other very uninteresting, rude and without affection. The intentions of one will not be clear to the other, there will be frequent misunderstanding. This may lead to serious marital problems.

Siroh Rajju: The couple may have fits of temper and unreasonable anger in one of the partners. Consequently there may be violent incidents. One of them may develop the desire to go to hell, to cheat on the other, to be unfaithful. At times there may be a compulsive desire to be promiscuous or indulge in extramarital relationships.

If the Rajju kuta of husband and wife are in different Rajju, then they will live a happy married life.

3. Strii Deergha: Shows the distance between the Moons. The shortest distance should be from the man’s to the woman’s Moon. This Strii Deergha or women moon to man moon distance is the number one reason for unhappiness or break up in relationship. There is energy flow in the zodiac, energy flow from Aries sign to Pisces sign. This energy flow is checked from the moon sign of man and woman. women always in the receiving role and men always in the giving role, there should be less distance from man moon to woman moon for good relationship. But if it opposite there will be emotional problem between couples and relationship could break.

If these three do not match we should not go further because these three are the main indicator of good marriage.

The other kutas are:

Nadi Kuta: Dosha - balance in emotional element – there is windy, fiery and watery nadi – if a couple have the same nadi there will be an excess of that element. Air=intellect – fire =anger – water=emotion. 8 points

Bhava kuta: (Sign) - Position of Moon from each other- Whether there is similar / supportive mental outlook. 2/12 - 6/8 - 5/9 Difficulty. 7 points.

Gana: Temperament - God (deva), Devil (rakshas) or Human (manushya) temperament – We all have our own nature. We all have different points of views about life, values and beliefs. It's good if you and your partner are of the same temperament. best when the woman has the higher temperament. 6 points

Graha Maitram/Rasyadhipati: Friendliness of Moon sign lord, shows a similarity of interests. 5 points

Yoni Kuta: Sexual compatibility – shows the capacity to bond through sexual experiences. When you and your partner are compatible sexually, you’ll be able to bond through intense experiences. while partners that are disruptive with each other may not able to find compatible sexually themselves and disappointed or bored with each other sexually. 4 points.

Dina or Tara: Day matching - important for the woman to feel cherished. - 3 points.

Vasya: Attraction - special inner connection. A partner can really be in love with each other and they’ll have an extremely hard time resisting one another or staying apart with each other. – 2 points.

Varna/Caste: Man should belong to a higher class. This factor signifies the degree of spiritual or ego development of the couple – 1 point.

Mahendra: Another special connection. The moon nakshatra of the man counted from the women's Moon nakshatra should be 4th, 7th, 10th, 19th, 22nd, or 25th. This promotes well-being in the marriage and increases longevity of the marriage.

The total amount of points to be gained is 36. A minimum is 18 points is fine, to be a good match 21 points should be obtained.

Other factors also considered Kuja Dosha or Manglik Dosha, ascendant and dasha system. These things should be checked for better judgment of the couple over their life journey.

Rahu (North Node) and Ketu (South Node) with Jupiter together (conjunction) Astrology

Rahu (North Node) and Ketu (South Node) with Jupiter together (conjunction) Astrology

Ketu is the body without a head. It is our past life experience of life, detachment, disinterest from those things where it is placed in the chart. Although they are not the physical planet but they are the most influential forces in the chart, it is the Rahu/Ketu axis that the main force of karmic desire can be seen. Ketu is what you develop in your past life and now you need to be detached from those things. Ketu is to let go.

Rahu is the head which wants to eat; it is obsessed over things which he wants. It is our inner present life desire with which we are born. Rahu is an obsession for those things where it is placed in the chart. Rhau is that you need to develop where it is placed and house, sign and the planets which are sitting with it.

Rahu and Ketu in astrology are the demons. In hindu mythology the story of churning the ocean of milk is related to our subconscious mind. Rahu and Ketu are lunar nodes which play a very important role in evolving the human consciousness. Rahu and Ketu are the confusion, illusion, smoke and split thought of the mind. They always help us to evolve consciously. They are always on the axis, they are always 180 degrees apart.

Houses are the area of life. Rahu placement in the house shows the area of life in which we need to develop mentally and Ketu shows the area of life where we withdraw ourselves.

Sign is the psychological environment of the planet, by what manner it behaves it depends on the sign of the planet.

Jupiter is the planet of luck, hope, wisdom, higher wisdom, guru grace, affluence, prosperity, marriage, children and husband for women. If Jupiter is not rightly placed in the chart the person can suffer from many things in life.

What happens when Jupiter sits with Rahu (North Node) and Ketu (South Node)?

Jupiter with Ketu (South Node): Ketu with Jupiter is quite conducive. Ketu is also about faith, belief in what we've experienced already. Ketu with Jupiter is actually the belief in the power of what we already learned. Ketu is about what we've been through and is about the past and this idea but can be very disruptive to certain areas of life, like where we need flexibility and creativity and to be open to new experiences. Sometimes ketu is very calcified around things and very rigid. ketu with Jupiter Going to Concentrate the energy of Jupiter. It can Interrupt Jupiter related things in making it a little bit rigid and dogmatic and even somewhat atheistic or it makes things very simple and devoted to what we've Learned and what we believe in (depending on the sign of conjunction).

Jupiter is wealth; it means these people have abundant wealth in their past life. They know how to create or attract wealth. In fact they gain a lot of wealth in life, but because of Ketu sitting with Jupiter they develop disinterest in wealth with time. They lose interest in gaining wealth with time, if not able to be detached, they need to learn to be detached with wealth. They need to let go of their wealth. Jupiter also represents tolerance, generosity and accepting others. These people already achieved these things in their past lives and life. They are very tolerant of others, and have a generous  nature. They never mind spending money on their loved ones. They are very wise and spiritual in nature and have a higher mind. They are natural advisors, teachers and have guru instincts within them. They have strong belief systems and religious views.

But what happened later in their life. Ketu breaks down their whole religious and spiritual view. Ketu is about letting go of past things which you develop in past lives. These people changed their belief or religious view with time. They are disappointed with their religious views. Ketu tells them that you need to detach with all these things and should find new things related to Jupiter. Otherwise they feel empty in their life. Jupiter aims to find meaning or purpose in life but with ketu they become kind of meaningless or purposeless about their belief system. They need to learn to find other meaning and purpose in their life. They are very pleasant people and have very deep wisdom but they always have doubts about their own wisdom. Ketu wants them to be detached with their old belief or whatever belief system they have. it makes you a more evolved soul.

Jupiter with Rahu (North Node): Jupiter conjunct with Rahu known as ‘’GURU CHANDALA YOGA’’. In this yoga rahu simply disrupts Jupiter things. The native is about a variety of things in life. These people try new things about taking experience through making mistakes. they don't listen or follow instructions from their teachers, not follow teachings, about believing in things. For these people it's about taking experience and learning through their own experience. Jupiter is about the power of our experience, great teachers and belief system in life. It is about those things we believe in, like religion. Jupiter is our great source of strength. But Rahu is not about believing in things, about trying new things and interrupting that faith inspired quality of Jupiter. Rahu with Jupiter Is Confusing Because Rahu is confusion and is about trying a lot of new things which Jupiter represents. like Gathering Information about a of Beliefs, religion and Teachings. Actually, the native is learning all the Jupiter things and in some way it is good. here native need to learn not just gather information but also put them into practice and make them in the beliefs that uplift us and that the board in Life and fruitful..

Rahu with Jupiter means the native did not develop much spirituality, higher wisdom, and moral in their past life. Rahu has a quality to amplify or externalise things, these people show that they are very spiritual or religious and believe in something but they have nothing inside. They show they are very moralistic, and tend to preach to others extremely. which makes other people irritate. In fact they do not have inner connection with higher sources, and they are very dogmatic in their belief, but they look very spiritual, traditional and religious from outside. They need to learn about religion, spiritualism, and higher wisdom. Later in life they achieved a lot of wisdom related to higher wisdom. They need to learn how to create wealth but Rahu always gives frustration about all the things which are related to jupiter.

If this conjunction is in the 7th house of a partner in the birth chart, then getting a good life partner is very difficult. Jupiter with Rahu shows that the person can make wrong choices about choosing a partner. The woman may get a ( partner) husband who may not be moral or not reliable.

Remedy: Respect parents, teachers, or Guru.

Need to develop generosity, tolerance, patience and accepting others and giving to others.

For women the best remedy is to get a good husband is to develop spiritual wisdom, or whatever Jupiter represents then a woman can attract a good husband in her life.

Pour water on Shivling to purify your inner negativity. ‘’it works’’ .
