Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in Astrology

In Vedic Astrology there is no mention of the outer planets, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Every culture has their own some technique and believes to predict events of life. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto are used in western astrology. If we look at life is not simple, the world is complicated. Therefore we should also consider these outer planets in Vedic astrology. Even today's astrology software also includes these planets in their birth chart calculations.

Until the discovery of Uranus Saturn considered the boundary of solar system. The planets beyond bound of the Saturn are Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. They are known as outer or trans-personal planets in astrology. We entered the realm beyond the personal self once we pass the boundary of Saturn. These trans-personal energies operate at the level of expanded awareness in the individual. All three of the outer planets move very slowly through the zodiac. It takes about 7 years to complete its journey in one signs.

In an individual’s birth chart, the outer planets will influence the part of life according to the house placement. Since the outer planets move so slowly through the zodiac they usually don’t even complete one circuit of a natal chart in a lifetime. Therefore their effects on any part of your life are experienced only in one sector of life.

The planet Uranus: Uranus spends 7 years in one signs. Uranus represents the supercharge energy. It provides us with sense of the rare, eccentric, and unique aspect of life. Through Uranus we gain an awareness of universal brotherhood, the common bonds of humanity. Uranus energy operates at the level of intuitive awareness of life and the aspect of the self which connect to a higher level of awareness. Uranus represents uniqueness and exceptional part of us. The influence of Uranus in a chart brings with it the energy of Change. Uranus is the planet of Revolution, new adventure and Freedom. Sudden Events, surprising turns of fate, New Developments, are some of the qualities of this planet. When it is strongly placed in a natal chart, such as when with the rising sign, the individual may feel highly spiritual or significant  sudden change. it can also indicates a major shift in one’s life, usually due to circumstances beyond one’s control. The house of Uranus placement shows facet of self which is most unique.

The planet Neptune: The illusory, mystical, and out worldly aspect of life are represented by planet Neptune is Dream. Neptune is divine compassion; through Neptune we can attune ourselves to the principle of universal love. Neptune represents dreams and the Imagination.
If connected to a strong positive of Neptune one can be an artist. On the negative side, dreams are Illusions can be web of Deception and Deceit, Confusion and Doubt, either self-created or created by another. Neptune is considered to be non-rational and brings uncertainty and confusion, and therefore functions like the opposite of Mercury, the planet of the Intellect. If well-disposed in a chart, Neptune gives a powerful intuition gift. The house placement of Neptune indicates that the areas that are especially sensitivities and more refined aspect of life operate. Neptune in the 3rd house brings an intuitive and mystical quality to communication. There may be a special intuitive link with the siblings. Another quality of Neptune is Idealism and ego-denying quality, and when strong and positive in birth charts, Neptune can produce a Saint.

The planet Pluto: Pluto is the extremist of the zodiac and operates at a very deep, intense level. The energy of Pluto is inaccessible in a direct manner by the human conscious. Pluto's energy is related with the powerful catalyst for transformation and regeneration. Pluto energy represents the evolutionary energy of the zodiac at all the level physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Pluto symbolizes the primordial energy of life, the energy flow from the divine mother and responsible birth and death. This energy is similar destruction energy of Lord Shiva. Pluto has the quality of complete power destruction, which is necessary for the next cycle to begin. e.g. Caterpillar, the creation of cocoon and ultimately emergence in butterfly. Egg to hatching to chick to bird. The house placement Pluto shows area of life in which the most drastic changes and transformation occur. Pluto is a powerful influence, when it is in close contact with other chart factors; it can bring about the dissolution and transformation in life.

These planets should be evaluated in Vedic astrology if necessary.

Compatibility/Synastry in Husband Wife Marriage/Partner Astrology

To have a happy married life it is necessary to have good compatibility between partners/ couples. Compatibility between couples can be seen from their cross check planets in their birth chart. There are many things in the birth chart to check compatibility between the couples.

Method to check compatibility between couples.

1. General compatibility: The connection between Ascendant, Moon, and Sun same sign or in opposition between Ascendant, Moon, and Sun attract two people towards each other. It is not necessary they attract sexually but they may have some common interest and liking for each other. Except Sun to Sun as it creates ego problems between couples.

2. Destiny Relationship North Node (Rahu) and South Node (Ketu) connection: The Nodes attract two people karmically. Whether one’s Nodes is associated with another Nodes or rising, Sun, and Moon sign. This connection generally brings them together to learn something from each other. It brings some pleasure or wisdom whether it lasts a long time or not.

3. Sexual compatibility or passion about each other: Mars and Venus connection brings passion and physical love towards each other initially. Mars and Mars connection brings sexual attraction. There is a common physical approach to life but it does not last long. Mars and Saturn connection brings a lot of passion in the initial stage but with time relationships become frustrating. Couples need to develop kindness and politeness to make relationships work.

4. Good communication: Mercury connection brings people towards each other on verbal and mental level. Couples may enjoy talking with each other for a long time. People in spiritual organization sometimes get married for this reason.

5. Comfort: Moon and Venus, Jupiter Venus, and Venus and Venus connection makes partners comfortable in each other's presence. There is something soothing, warm and pleasant in this relationship.

6. Security: Saturn and Jupiter connection brings security in relationship. This relationship may not have passion and sexual attraction but the relationship is long lasting. This marriage mostly happens between older and conservative couples.

7. Manglik Dosha or Kuja Dosha: This is known as manglik dosha. If either partner has planet Mars located in the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, or 12th house. It shows an increased possibility of either separation or increased discord being brought upon the partner that does not have manglik or kuja dosha. The person has a kuja dosha known as manglik. There is an exception of kuja dosha. When both partners have this kuja dosha both partners still face some disharmony in marriage but marriage works.

8. Cancellation of Mars Affliction or Kuja Dosha:

If Mars in Gemini and Virgo sign in 2nd house,

If Mars in Aries or Scorpio in the 4th house,

If Mars in Capricorn or Cancer in the seventh house,

If Mars in Sagittarius or Pisces in the 8th house or

If Mars in Taurus or Libra in the 12th house.

Mars in Leo and Aquarius signs.

There is no kuja dosha in any house.

Mars is conjunct either Jupiter or the Moon no kuja dosha.

The ascendant has Jupiter or Venus no kuja dosha.

9. Venus and Jupiter also play a major role in happiness in marriage. Venus for men or Jupiter for women. If weak then they may face problems in marriage or in relationships.

10. If any of the partners have afflicted 5th (romance) and 7th ( marriage) house, then they face problems in marriage or in relationships.

11. Timing of marriage also plays a major role in sustaining marriage. If both partners don’t have dasha of marriage, then there are chances of a break in marriage.

These should be some compatibility points between partners for having a good relationship in marriage.
