In Vedic astrology planets are responsible for certain things in our life, no matter in which house they are placed. For understand this I give example like Mars is the ruler of 1st and 8th house but Mars is the karaka ( significator ) of courage and brothers, it does not matter where Mars placed in the birth chart. So in life every planet is responsible for certain things.
So let’s check what planet signifies what in our life.
Sun: Physical vitality,
soul, father, carrier and power. When check birth chart we look Sun it does not
matter where Sun is placed in birth chart.
Moon: Peace, happiness,
comfort, mind and mother.
Mars: Brothers, and
courage, and real estate.
Mercury: Sister,
intelligence, reasoning, Business, and speech.
Jupiter: Wisdom, wealth,
Marriage for women, husband, children, and general luck.
Venus: beauty, Marriage
for men, wife, vehicles, convenience, pleasures, and luxury.
Saturn: Karma, carrier,
responsibility, longevity, and sorrows.
Rahu: Future growth.
Ketu: Past life, and
Moksha.
In the birth chart these
planets signify all these things in our life. To check all these things (written
above) we need to check these planets and at the same time lord of the house. e. g. If you want to check
partner in your life you need to check Venus for men and Jupiter for women at
the same time 7th lord in your birth chart.
Now in life every house
represents something according to your ascendant. But there is karakas
(significator of house) also. E. G. If you want to check someone’s physical
health you need to check 1st house lord according to your ascendant, sixth
house lord and at the same time karaka of 1st house, which is Sun, it does not
matter which ascendant you are.
Karakas of houses
1st house: Sun. e.g. If you are Aries ascendant, your first house ruled by Planet Mars. To check your physical vitality and personality you need to check condition of planet Mars and at the same time planet Sun also.
2nd House: Jupiter. e.g. If you are Taurus ascendant, your second lord is Planet Mercury. To check your wealth you need to check condition of planet Mercury and at the same time planet Jupiter also.
3rd house: Mars. e.g. If
you are Gemini ascendant. Your 3rd house ruled by Planet Sun. To check your
courage and sibling, you need to check condition of planet Sun and at the same
time planet Mars also.
4th House: Moon. e.g. If
you are Cancer ascendant, your 4th house ruled by Planet Venus. To check your
inner peace, you need to check condition of planet Moon and at the same time
planet Venus also.
5th House: Jupiter. e.g. If you are Leo ascendant, your 5th house ruled
by Planet Jupiter. In your case Jupiter itself rule your 5th house and
karaka also so if you to check children and education you need to check
condition of planet Jupiter only.
6th House: Mars. e.g. If you are Virgo ascendant, your 6th house ruled
by Planet Saturn. To check your fighting ability with disease and day to day
conflict. You need to check condition of planet Saturn and at the same time
planet Mars also.
7th House: Venus. e.g. If
you are Libra ascendant, your 7th house ruled by Planet Mars. To check your
spouse and partnership you need to check condition of planet Mars and at the
same time planet Venus also.
8th House: Saturn. e.g. If you are Scorpio ascendant, your 8th
house ruled by Planet Mercury. To check your longevity you need to check
condition of planet Mercury and at the same time planet Saturn also.
9th House: Jupiter. e.g. If you are Sagittarius ascendant, your
9th house ruled by Planet Sun. To check your higher education and wisdom you
need to check condition of planet Sun and at the same time planet Jupiter also.
10th House: Saturn, Sun
and Mercury. e.g. If you are Capricorn
ascendant, your 10th house ruled by Venus. To check your carrier you need to
check condition of planet Venus and at the same time planet Saturn, Sun and Mercury
also. Saturn for responsible nature, Sun for power and Mercury how good
communication you have. Nowadays communication is must in most of the career
field.
11th House: Jupiter. e.g. If you are Aquarius ascendant, your 11th
house ruled by Planet Jupiter. In your case Jupiter itself rule your 11th house
and karaka also so if you need to check income you need to check condition of
planet Jupiter only.
12th House: Ketu and Saturn.
e.g. If you are Pisces
ascendant, your 12th house ruled by Planet Saturn. To check your loss and
moksha you need to check condition of planet Saturn and at the same time planet
Ketu also.
Not including karakas in
prediction, prediction is incomplete. Let’s if someone running through Venus
Mahadasha on should look what Venus signify and at the same time where Venus is
placed and which house it rule. As Venus karaka or significator wife in men
chart, so in Venus mahadasha the person's wife also get activated depending on
your Venus placement in your Birth Chart.
